Deadline reports Kristen Bell and Daniela Melchior have joined the cast of Violent Night 2 in currently undisclosed roles.

NEON has revealed Lola Tung and Nico Parker wills star in The Young People, a mysterious new project from director Osgood Perkins that is somehow related to H.P. Lovecraft’s concept of the “Old Ones.”

Hokum
Adam Scott, Peter Coonan, and David Wilmot will star in Hokum, the latest film from Oddity director Damian McCarthy. The movie reportedly follows a horror novelist visiting “a remote Irish inn to spread his parents’ ashes, unaware the place is rumored to be haunted by a witch.”

Deadline also has word Alexandra Daddario and John Cho will star in Inground, a horror film produced by Ridley Scott in which “a recently divorced father attempts to reconnect with his young son by building a swimming pool in his backyard that they can both enjoy over the course of a long, hot summer. What begins as an exciting project turns into a terrifying nightmare.” Aaron Katz is attached to direct.
Ready or Not 2: Here I Come
Speaking with Bloody-Disgusting, Elijah Wood revealed that the sequel to Ready or Not picks up the storyline “almost immediately after the first one.”
What I love about this sequel is that it really deepens that mythology, so I’m stoked for people to see it. It’s a movie that takes place almost immediately after the first one ends and enriches everything you love about the original film.

Bloody-Disgusting also has word the second season of The Creep Tapes will premiere “sometime in Fall 2025.”
Daredevil: Born Again
Actor Mike Colter is scheduled to appear alongside the cast of Daredevil: Born Again at a panel at this year’s New York Comic Con, which suggests character Luke Cage will make an appearance in season two.

MGM+ has released a trailer for its new Robin Hood series starring Jack Patten as Robin hood, Lauren McQueen as Marian, Sean Bean as the Sheriff of Nottingham, Lydia Peckham as Priscilla of Nottingham, Steven Waddington as the Earl of Huntingdon, and Connie Nielsen as Queen Eleanor of Aquitaine.
