Happy Apple event day folks! Before all of the “Awe dropping” new reveals, we are touching down with some notable price drops on MacBook Pro. This includes one of the best price drops ever on Apple’s 24GB M4 MacBook Pro at $400 off alongside this upgraded M4 Pro MacBook Pro with 48GB of RAM and a 1TB SSD at the same $400 off the list price. And if you’re not upgrading to iPhone 17, we have put together some particularly notable price drops on iPhone 15, 15 Pro Max, and iPhone 16 Pro models with as much as $730 off the previous models and up to $470 off 16 Pro. All of that and more awaits below. Apple’s 24GB M4 MacBook Pro just hit the best price we have ever tracked at $400 off (Today only) For today only over at B&H, we are tracking one of the best deals ever on an M4 MacBook Pro. We have tracked a ton of $300 discounts on the most affordable end of the both the M4 and M4 Pro MacBook Pro lineup over the last couple months. In fact, these deals were readily available since early July and have just recently jumped back up to full price at Amazon and other major retailers. But today B&H has a 24GB M4 MacBook Pro at $400 off the list price. B&H is now offering the 14-inch M4 MacBook Pro with 24GB of RAM and the 512GB internal SSD down at $1,399 shipped. This is a regularly $1,799 configuration that is now $400 off the list price to deliver one of the most notable deals we have ever tracked on one of the more affordable machines in the lineup. Amazon does not sell the M4 MacBook Pro with 24GB of RAM, only the 16GB/512GB and the 24GB/1TB. The former is currently selling for $1,450 or so and the latter at closer to $1,780. And just for comparison’s sake, Amazon price on the 24GB/512GB M4 Pro model is sitting at $1,799 shipped and has never dropped below $1,675. In other words, you’re looking at the most affordable current-generation 24GB MacBook Pro you can buy, and it’s now $400 off the list price for the best we have tracked. Apple is likely to refresh the MacBook Pro lineup soon – it could happen at today’s “Awe dropping” event but is more likely later this fall. Just don’t expect to see the most affordable 24GB model anywhere near $400 for the better part of a year or more. Speaking of “Awe dropping” new releases, stay locked to 9to5Mac today as we are in person at Apple Park for today’s iPhone 17, AirPods Pro 3, and new Apple Watch reveal showcase. Big-time $400 price drop lands on This morning B&H launched a particularly notable discount on the M4 MacBook Pro with 24GB of RAM – it is now sitting at the best price we have tracked with a straight $400 price drop. That deal, however, also sits alongside a higher-end model over at B&H now with the 16-inch M4 Pro stacked with 48GB of RAM seeing the same $400 discount today. B&H is now offering the 16-inch M4 Pro MacBook Pro with 48GB of RAM and a 1TB internal SSD upgrade down at $2,699 shipped. You’re looking at a regularly $3,099 machine that would run you as much just about everywhere right now, but B&H is now serving up a deep $400 price drop for one of the best prices we have tracked on this model. Much like the configuration we featured this morning – the 14-inch M4 MacBook Pro at $1,399, you can’t buy this particular configuration over on Amazon. You’ll have to jump up to the much more expensive M4 Max chip to score a 48GB/1TB setup there. For comparison’s sake, Amazon is charging $2,608 for the 48GB/512GB modelright now, which is over $290 off the list price. Now clearly a 16-inch Pro machine with these sorts of specs isn’t the most universally appealing – it is still quite pricey after all. But this is one of B&H’s best-sellers and if you are looking to land a late life-cycle discount on a spec’d out machine, this might very well be it. It’s going to be quite a long time before we see the expected M5 upgraded MacBook releases at $400 off the list price. iPhone 17 debuts today, and Amazon has 15 Pro up to $730 off, 16 Pro at $470 off, more from $550 Apple event day has arrived and we are on the ground in Cupertino for today’s “Awe dropping” debut of the new iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro, and 17 Pro Max. Apple will unleash its latest and greatest with some all-new colorways, a giant leap in battery life on the pro model, and the all-new ultra-thin Air form factor. Previous rumors suggested we will be seeing some price increases on the mid-range model and the Pro-grade handsets, and although that might not be the case (it could just be a higher starting storage tier), some folks might rather land a deal on the previous-gen models and wait for a chance to score a 17 at a better price down the road. Amazon’s Renewed Premium program has been one of, if not, the best ways to score a deal on unlocked iPhone units. While it will most likely take until late spring 2026 before we see iPhone 17 models up for grabs there, it does have some major deals live on 15 Pro and 16 Pro variants for folks looking to side-step the Apple tax on brand new devices. I for one really only upgrade each year for work purposes – all things considered, iPhone 15 Pro and 16 devices are still perfectly fine if you ask me, and will be for several months or years to come depending on how you use your phone. All of that said, let’s take a look at the best chances to score a deal on previous-gen series 15 devices and the soon-to-be last gen iPhone 16 – all of these Amazon Premium Renewed units include a 1-year warranty. iPhone 15, 15 Pro/Max deals: ***Note: While all of the 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max models are in Amazon Renewed Premium condition, the iPhone 15 deals above come via Woot with “100% battery life” in pristine condition “and have never been in customer hands” – the so not ship in original packaging though. iPhone 16 Pro/Max deals: You will find some iPhone 16 and iPhone Pro Max models on Amazon, but they are by and large only sold via third-party sellers.
