Blink is raising the price of a monthly and yearly subscription.
The Plus plan will be $12/month and $120/year.
The company hasn't changed its subscription price since 2020.
For the first time ever, Blink is raising the price of its subscription plan -- but it's adding some new features. And if you hurry, you can avoid the rate increase.
In an email to subscribers this week, the company explained that "for the first time since Blink launched subscription plans," customers would be paying more each month for the Blink Basic plan, which covers one device.

The new price for the Basic plan, which covers one device, is $4 per month or $40 per year. Previously, the price was $3 a month or $30 a year. The Blink Plus plan, which covers unlimited devices, will increase to $12 a month or $120 a year.
When I asked Blink for details, they said that if you subscribe to a yearly Basic or Plus plan before Oct. 8, 2025, you can lock in the current price until your next renewal date. Blink is also offering subscribers the chance to lock in Blink Plus plan pricing for two or three years, a rep explained.
Blink debuted its current subscription plan in 2020, about three years after its purchase by Amazon.
The company's cameras include basic functionality without a subscription, like live view, motion alerts, and two-way audio, but if you want advanced features like cloud video recording and 30-day cloud storage, you'll need to pay.
If you don't do anything or you're on the monthly plan, you'll be bumped to the higher price next month or when you renew. If you renew now, you can lock in the current price for two or three more years.
New features coming to your Blink cameras
It's not all bad news, though, as Blink also announced two new features.
First up is Blink Moments, which is available now. This feature automatically combines multiple events that are recorded close together across all cameras into a single clip, letting you more easily see what's happening.

Also available now is a custom snooze for motion notifications. Currently, you have the ability to snooze notifications for a set amount of time -- 30 minutes, one hour, two hours, and so on. (I use this feature often when my kids are playing outside or my dogs are in the backyard.) Now, though, you can set a custom notification silence time from one minute to 24 hours.
