Apple Vision Pro owners now have a new way to experience the intensity of MotoGP racing. Tour De Force, an Apple Immersive Video documentary from CANAL+, is available starting today. Behind the scenes of immersive MotoGP The film follows champion rider Johann Zarco through his rain-soaked motorbike race at the French Grand Prix in Le Mans earlier this year, resulting in the end a 71-year wait for a home champion in front of over 300,000 fans. To capture the event as vividly as possible, CANAL+ deployed four URSA Cine Immersive cameras across the track, mounted on pedestals and Steadicams, and paired with ambisonic microphones for Apple Spatial Audio. A mobile production setup using Mac Studio with M3 Max, Pro Display XDR, and Vision Pro was positioned trackside for immediate review, ensuring framing and perspective felt natural inside the headset. The Paris-based post-production team used the same tools with DaVinci Resolve Studio for editing, color grading, and audio mixing. Availability Tour De Force is available today through the CANAL+ app on Vision Pro for subscribers in France. Vision Pro users in other regions including the U.S., U.K., Canada, Germany, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and the U.A.E can watch for free on the Apple TV app. This release is especially significant for being the first third-party sports production using Apple’s Immersive Video format, expanding the Vision Pro’s limited catalog of spatial content.
