As with its other operating systems, Apple just released the first developer beta of visionOS 26.1, following last week’s official rollout of visionOS 26. Here is what to expect from today’s beta.
What to expect?
The build number for today’s visionOS 26.1 developer beta 1 release is 23N5013j, and this version is expected to have multiple bug fixes, rather than flashy new features.
visionOS 26 brought spatial widgets, a revamped personas feature, spatial scenes, PS VR2 controller support, a new Jupiter environment, among other things.
Still, we are looking into the beta and will report back if we find any new features or noteworthy tidbits.
If you own an Apple Vision Pro and would like to enroll in the developer beta program, here’s what you have to do:
Open the Settings app
Choose “General”
Choose “Software Update”
Select “Beta Updates”
Select “visionOS Developer Beta”
If you find any thing new in todays beta, let us know in the comments.
