A few months ago, Apple announced its new collaboration with Severance director Ben Stiller: “Stiller & Meara: Nothing is Lost,” a documentary about his parents, legendary comedy duo Jerry Stiller (Seinfeld) and Anne Meara (Night at the Museum). Now, the first trailer just dropped, and it is surprisingly touching. Watch it below. ‘Stiller & Meara: Nothing is Lost’ premieres next month With a limited theatrical release scheduled for October 17, “Stiller & Meara: Nothing is Lost” will premiere globally on Apple TV+ the following week, October 24. As the trailer below shows, “Stiller & Meara: Nothing is Lost” will feature plenty of archive footage, interviews, and notes written by the comedy duo, as Ben Stiller and his sister, Amy Stiller, try to explore and understand their parents’ relationship on and off-stage. For Severance fans, the trailer shows at least one familiar face, as Christopher Walken (Catch Me If You Can, Pulp Fiction), who plays Burt Goodman in the show, offers his recollections of the comedy duo. Here’s Ben Stiller on the upcoming project: “I feel very fortunate to be partnering once again with the incredible team at Apple TV+, this time on a project that is very personal to me and my family, (…) It’s exciting to finally get to share it with audiences; and a great honor to celebrate my parents, both as I knew them growing up, and as I’ve come to know them in new ways through the making of this film.” Watch the trailer below: Watch “Stiller & Meara: Nothing is Lost” on Apple TV+.
