Loud Noise Protection: If a loud noise occurs suddenly around you, like a fire truck's siren blaring, your earbuds will help reduce the level of sound that reaches your ears. Head gestures for calls and texts: Google says you can now manage calls and text messages without lifting a finger. Improved Gemini Live interactions in noisy environments: If you've ever had trouble being heard by Gemini Live because of noise around you, you'll notice an improvement with this update. Google explains that advanced audio processing will now prioritize your voice and eliminate background noise, meaning your conversations with Gemini Live will be uninterrupted, even if people are talking around you. Google says the update with these features, which will take about 10 minutes to install, will roll out to all users gradually and automatically -- just make sure you have your earbuds charged and connected. If you have automatic updates turned off, you can check manually by going to the Google Pixel Buds app, finding "More settings" and tapping "Firmware update."
