If you’re a Martin Scorsese fan, you’re probably counting the days until October 17, when “Mr. Scorsese” will hit Apple TV+. To add to the excitement, Apple has released the docuseries’ official trailer. Watch it below.
’I knew I could express myself with movies, but I had to find my own way’
Mr. Scorsese is a highly anticipated five-part documentary directed by Rebecca Miller, and it features in-depth interviews with multiple longtime collaborators of his, including Robert De Niro, and Leonardo DiCaprio.
The docuseries will feature rare and never-before-seen footage from both behind-the-scenes and family archives, as well as insights and interviews with Martin Scorsese himself.
The trailer released today interweaves scenes from Scorsese across the years, with quick cuts from some of his most recognizable movies, including Raging Bull, Taxi Driver, Goodfellas, Casino, The Wolf of Wall Street, Shutter Island, The Departed, The Last Temptation of Christ, Gangs of New York, and Mean Streets.
Mr. Scorsese will premiere this Saturday at the New York Film Festival, ahead of its October 17 debut on Apple TV+. Watch the trailer below:
