The first developer beta of macOS Tahoe 26.1 brought a few interesting tidbits under the hood, including a framework that will bring MCP support to macOS and other platforms, as well as some behind-the-scenes adjustments to expand Image Playground compatibility beyond ChatGPT. As expected, macOS Tahoe 26.1 will also bring bug fixes and performance improvements following the release of version 26.0 last month.
