Apple today updated its Apple Support app, bringing iOS 26 compatibility, as well as a few under-the-hood improvements.
Since the release of iOS 26, Apple has been rolling out updates to several of its standalone apps, adding visual refinements and support for the new system-wide features.
Today, Apple Support received the iOS 26 treatment, featuring a new layered icon design, as well as the revamped navigation bar at the bottom of the interface, which is one of the hallmarks of the new Liquid Glass design.
Apple Support version 5.1.1 also comes with the usual “performance enhancements and bug fixes,” and can be downloaded from the App Store.
AI-assisted support
Today’s update comes a few months after Apple began testing out a new AI-assisted support flow, aimed at leaving the messier cases to human specialists. When select users enter the “Chat” tab, they are greeted with a splash screen that says the following:

Depending on the situation, the user can be presented with the option to escalate the issue to a human representative, who can take over and provide more in-depth support.
