Friday the 13th

We are actively working on a new movie – which will be the 13th in the franchise – as well as a new video game. [Jason will return] in other unexpected ways. We’re exploring a variety of opportunities, but consistently staying focused on authenticity.
The Amityville Horror
Meanwhile, David F. Sandberg revealed his upcoming Amityville movie will lean more into “suspense” than “gore and craziness” during his recent appearance at Midnight Fest.
I’m looking forward to doing a supernatural, classic horror again. Until Dawn was quite different and was more gore and craziness. Really looking forward to doing more of that suspenseful, supernatural horror.

The X-Files
During a recent interview with Screen Rant, Robert Patrick addressed the possibility of John Doggett’s return to the X-Files in the upcoming reboot.
It’d interesting to see what’s happened to him in the elapsed time in between him being there and wherever they pick up. They’ve never had me back before, because of my schedule. I’ve always been too busy. But that’s the character that’s most dear to my heart, and what I loved about him was he was a very strong, tough guy, but had a heart of gold. That’s why he’s so dear to me.
