It’s official: Hasbro is bringing Tron toys to life. Confirmed at New York Comic Con today, the toymaker revealed that it was entering the Grid in a major way—and io9 has your first look at what to expect.
io9 can exclusively give you your first look at Hasbro’s first Tron action figures, a deluxe five-figure collection that will form the next entry in the toymaker’s crowd-backed Haslab series. Tron: Heroes of the Grid will feature 3.75″-scaled figures of key characters from the beloved 1982 movie, as well as two light cycles complete with trail FX pieces and a USB-powered light-up display base to pose them all on.
Heroes of the Grid will include figures of Tron himself, Kevin Flynn, Yori, the sinister Commander Sark, and a generic program, each with multiple sets of hands and identity disc accessories, complete with glowing FX trail pieces to replicate them being thrown—or, in the case of Tron, posed floating above his head to replicate the iconic theatrical poster for the film.
Each figure will also come in custom packaging inspired by the movie, in a similar style to the company’s retro packaging for Star Wars‘ Vintage Collection line.

Aside from the figures, Heroes of the Grid will also feature two Light Cycles, one yellow and one blue, that can be opened up to seat one of the included figures, as well as to attach the separate trailing light wall pieces used to replicate the movie’s iconic race sequences. All that can be displayed on the 1:18-scaled display stand replicating the electronic frontier of the grid. Clocking in at approximately 6.5″ tall, 10.75″ deep, and 16″ wide, the stand includes space for both the figures and the two light cycles, as well as a backdrop lit by LEDs to give everything a suitably glowing ’80s vibe.
Although Heroes of the Grid is a Haslab project, Hasbro has big plans for Tron beyond this initial crowdfunding offering. The set marks the launch of a new range at the toymaker, simply called Hasbro 375, which will create 3.75″-scaled figures from the Tron franchise and, potentially in the future, other properties.
And if you prefer your Tron figures to sit alongside your Star Wars Black Series or Marvel Legends collections, well, there’s good news there too: although nothing was shown today, Hasbro also confirmed to io9 that it is developing 6″ figures based on Tron: Legacy. We’re already requesting the Daft Punk two-pack.
The Haslab crowdfunding campaign for Tron: Heroes of the Grid will go live on Hasbro Pulse starting today, October 9, through 11:59 p.m. ET on November 24. The set will cost $260 and, if it hits its backer thresholds, is expected to start shipping in fall 2026.
