Following the rollout of DJ voice requests earlier in 2025, Spotify now allows its Premium users to ask for music in Spanish, type in their requests or choose from a number of personalized suggestions.

In addition to English requests, Spanish speakers can now ask the AI DJ for voice requests in real time, while the DJ also accepts a text input in either Spanish or English -- for times when shouting at your phone isn't appropriate.

The DJ now includes three different prompt suggestions, based on your music tastes, in order to direct your on-the-go session.
In order to make a request, you can search for "DJ" in the search bar. When you press play, the DJ will curate a radio mix with announcements about the tracks. To make a request, press the DJ button in the bottom right-hand corner and give commands using voice or text.
At $12 a month, Spotify is the largest music streaming service with over 100 million tracks and, in addition to the DJ, also includes features such as free audiobooks and the yearly Spotify Wrapped.
