Today’s 9to5Toys Lunch Break is kicking off with MacBook Pro. Amazon is now undercutting everyone on the new M5 MacBook Pro, but it is the M4 model deals that are the real highlights right now – you can land the most affordable model at $300 off and Amazon just knocked a giant $364 off the 16-inch M4 Pro MacBook Pro with 48GB of RAM. We also spotted the least expensive 11-inch M4 iPad Pro cell model at one of its best prices ever, alongside up to $50 off Apple Watch Series 11 and as much as $197 off titanium Apple Watch Series 10 models. Those offers join deep deals on leather iPad cases and Apple Watch bands, iPhone 17 cases, and more. Scope it all out down below.
Land the most affordable M4 MacBook Pro at $300 less than the M5 today
Apple has unleashed pre-orders for its new M5-powered MacBook Pro, and particularly notable deals on the entry-level M4 model have all but disappeared ever since. While we did get a steady run at solid $300 price drops on the most affordable 16GB model via Amazon for a while there, pricing has jumped back up leaving today’s B&H deal the best game in town at $300 off.
B&H is now offering the base model M4 MacBook Pro in Space Black with 16GB of RAM and the 512GB SSD down at $1,299 shipped. That’s $300 off the original $1,599 list price and the lowest price we can find.
This price drop lands the most affordable M4 MacBook Pro back at the best price we had been tracking at Amazon throughout the summer and in mid-September before prices jumped back up – it is currently sitting at $1,349 there right now.
While the new M5 model has arrived and without an official price hike, you’re going to have to shell out the full $1,599 for one those of those if you don’t have gear to trade in against the list price (or time to wait it out).
For a historical comparison here, it took 10 months after release for the M4 MacBook Pro to drop a full $300 off at Amazon, and that includes the Black Friday, holidays, and Prime Day sale that landed in between. We did however see the M4 MacBook Pro with a $200 price drop shortly after it release in November just ahead of Black Friday 2024 – it’s certainly wouldn’t be all too surprising to see the M5 follow suit here, just don’t bet on a full $300 off on one of those until we are deep into 2026 at this point.
If you must have the new M5, and you must have it now (it might be a good idea to wait a few weeks – wink, wink), there are some early trade-in offers you’ll want to scope out right here.
Apple’s 16-inch M4 Pro MacBook Pro with 48GB of RAM is $364 off at Amazon today
Most affordable 11-inch M4 iPad Pro cell model hits one of its best prices ever at $209 off
With the new M5 iPad Pro models now up for pre-order we are starting some particularly notable discounts on elect M4 variants. Yesterday’s giant $444 price drop on the high-end 11-inch model is still live, but today we are turning our attention towards hundreds in savings on one of the most affordable models in the lineup.
Amazon is now offering the 11-inch M4 iPad Pro Wi-Fi + Cell model down at $989.95 shipped. This is an original $1,199 machine now sitting down at the lowest price we have tracked on Amazon.
While the roughly $210 in savings here isn’t anywhere near the $440+ we have on the aforementioned 2TB model, that is par for the course here. Over the last year or more, it is the far more expensive iPad configurations that see the deepest discounts. While something closer to $350 or $450 is really where you want to be on the 1TB and 2TB models, anything more than $180 or $200 off the list price on the most affordable 256GB and 512GB models is notable, and that’s what we have here today.
Over the life cycle of the M4 iPad Pro, which debuted in May of 2024, the most affordable configurations saw a countless number of $100 price drops, even $150 in the early days at times, and then it was the straight $200 cash discounts that made headlines thereafter. Today we are right in the sweet spot there at slightly better than $200 off the list.
While the M5 is here, and we might have some lighter $50 and $100 discounts on the horizon, historical indications suggest we aren’t likely to see $200 price drops across the lineup until 2026 at this point. You never really know with Black Friday around the corner now, but as someone who has tracked these things for many years, I wouldn’t go out of my way to bet on it.
First M5 iPad Pro launch deals landing on Amazon today, but you might want to hold off
New Apple Watch Series 11 Titanium models return to Amazon lows today (Up to $50 off)
This morning we featured a series of the higher-end titanium Apple Watch Series 10 models – you’re looking at some sizeable savings here with as much as $197 slashed from the original list prices. I still happen to think the Series 10 is a great buy if you can score a deal like that, but for some folks only the latest and greatest will do and Amazon just brought back all-time low pricing on a few titanium Apple Watch Series 11 models. One highlight here is the the Natural Titanium 46mm Apple Watch Series 11 GPS + Cell model with the matching Natural Milanese Loop back at $768 shipped. Again, you can score a much deeper deal on these titanium Apple Watch Series 10 variants, but if you do have your eye on the Series 11 right now, there are some additional drops to have on your radar right now with as much as $50 in savings:

M5 MacBook Pro is here, but you can grab Mac mini at a fraction of the price – now $499
The best value in Mac is back. Amazon just brought back the Prime Day price on the most affordable M4 Mac mini at $499 shipped to deliver $100 in savings and a price on par with the lowest we have tracked in nearly 5 months.
Amazon is now offering the 16GB M4 Mac mini with the 256GB internal SSD down at $499 shipped once again. Regularly $599 and already one of the best bang for your buck Mac purchases you can make, this is $100 off and on par with the Prime Day price Amazon offered last week.
We have seen this deal a number of times now, but the fact that you can even buy a 16GB Mac for under $500 is still a bit shocking to me. There’s no denying the value on this machine.
The M5 chip has arrived in all its glory, and it is perhaps only a matter of time before the Mac mini gets one. But Apple did skip the M3 on the mini entirely and there’s hasn’t been much in the way of rumors pointing towards an M5 Mac mini refresh as of yet – the chances of seeing one this year are slim to none.
At this point you’re going to need to spend at least $1,599 to land an M5 chip inside a Mac at this point. That is of course an entirely portable MacBook Pro and not something you can directly compare to a Mac mini. But we are still talking about a machine that runs (just about) all the same apps, the same macOS, and so forth for $1,100 less right now – you could buy three M4 Mac mini machines for less than the price of the new M5 MacBook Pro. Again, there’s no real comparison here…just saying.
