Baseus’ recently announced EnerGeek GX11 power bank is not only a great power bank, but it also doubles as a cellular hotspot.
A powerful and convenient portable charger
The EnerGeek GX11 is an excellent, high-capacity portable charger. It has a high capacity of 20,000 mAh, meaning you should be able to charge an iPhone 17 Pro about 2.7 times. It also supports up to 67W of charging, so it can fast-charge your iPhone or iPad or charge your MacBook. There are also three ports, two USB-C PD and one USB-A, so you can charge multiple devices at once.

It also has an LED screen on the front to indicate cellular status, connection strength, and remaining battery. I also appreciate the rubber grip on the bottom so that it can easily stand up.
Built-in cellular hotspot
While the charging capabilities are great, the headlining feature of the GX11 is its built-in hotspot. You can connect up to 10 devices to the power bank and get a 4G hotspot connection. Baseus advertises a maximum of 150 Mbps download and 50 Mbps upload speed. In my testing, I was able to get 27 up and 24 down, which is better than what I get on my phone’s cellular connection (I live in an area with poor coverage). They also advertise up to 114 hours of battery life when just using the hotspot feature, so you can stay connected for days on end.
With Baseus’ companion app, you can easily purchase data, and they offer coverage in over 150 countries and regions (full list here). In this app, you can also easily change WiFi settings like network name, password, and switching between 2.4 and 5GHz bands. The GX11 has a SIM card built-in, so you don’t need to supply your own or switch between cards when traveling to another region. Finally, as a sort of free trial, you also get 1 GB of free data per month for the first year.
Ideal for working on the go
The GX11 is a traveler’s best friend, especially for anyone who is working remotely or on a business trip. The built-in hotspot makes it so easy to work online or attend meetings while on the go, and you don’t even have to worry about draining your laptop’s battery.
