Spotify is expanding how users can share their music on Instagram with two new features rolling out globally today. Audio previews in Stories Audio previews are now included when posting tracks to Stories, while Instagram Notes gets real-time music updates that show what you are currently listening to. Sharing songs to Instagram Stories now includes a short audio clip automatically. Friends can listen to the preview directly in the Story and tap the music sticker to open the full track in Spotify. Tapping the song title also opens Instagram’s audio page, where users can see related Reels or save the track to their Spotify “Liked Songs.” Real-time music sharing in Notes Instagram Notes now supports live song updates from Spotify. When enabled, the Note automatically updates to display the track currently playing or the next track within 30 minutes. Friends can respond directly or save the song to their library, and a new share option in Spotify makes it easy to post any track straight to Notes. Separately, Instagram is rolling out a new option for creators to link multiple Reels in a series, Meta tells TechCrunch, making it easier for viewers to follow related videos. Earlier this week, Spotify announced a new feature that sounds a lot like Apple Music’s new AutoFix feature in iOS 26. Apple Music has similarly built features for deeper Instagram integration over the years. Meanwhile, Spotify recently raised prices around the world for paid subscribers.
