Alongside the new macOS 26 developer beta 8, Apple is also rolling out the eighth developer beta of visionOS 26, and the rest of the operating systems it announced during WWDC25. Here’s what’s coming. The build number for today’s visionOS 26 beta 8 release is 23M5332a. If you want to enroll in the developer beta program for Apple Vision Pro, here’s what you’ve got to do: Open the Settings app Choose “General” Choose “Software Update” Select “Beta Updates” Select “visionOS Developer Beta” What’s coming? As announced on WWDC25, visionOS 26 brings spatial widgets, a much-improved Personas feature, support for 180-degree and 360-degree videos from action cams like Insta360 and GoPro, and PSVR 2 controllers. It also features a new, Jupiter immersive environment, as well as support for Muse, a new stylus-like accessory from Logitech. As for today’s release, Apple hasn’t yet detailed what (if any) new features or changes have been made, beyond the usual under-the-hood improvements and bug fixes.
