Here are the automakers committed to supporting CarPlay Ultra

Apple today officially announced CarPlay Ultra, the next generation version of CarPlay that it first teased way back at WWDC 2022. CarPlay Ultra is rolling out starting today to Aston Martin owners in the United States and Canada. Apple today also revealed that three new automakers have signed on to support CarPlay Ultra in the future: Hyundai, Kia, and Genesis. Next-gen CarPlay brands In December 2023, Apple said that Porsche and Aston Martin would be the first automakers to support next-generation CarPlay starting in 2024. That deadline came and went, and Apple confirmed in January that next-gen CarPlay had been delayed, but was still in the works. Apple doesn’t offer a timeline on when CarPlay Ultra will actually be available to those three automakers, or any other brand beyond Aston Martin.
