Apple Pay and Apple Cash are down for many iPhone users [U: Fixed]

Trying to make a payment using your iPhone? You might need to use a third-party service, as Apple Cash appears to be down, and Apple Pay looks to be struggling too. Update: Apple’s system status page marks all issues as resolved around 1:00 p.m. Eastern. Apple Pay outages appear to have started around 11 a.m. Eastern Many users on social media have reported being unable to use Apple Pay today. Based on the reports, the issue seems to affect both Apple Pay and Apple Cash. These problems appear to have started shortly after 11:00 a.m. Eastern. I have verified that Apple Cash isn’t working for me or many other iPhone users. Apple Pay, however, appears to be a problem too. Personally, I had an Apple Pay transaction fail after a long delay around 11:50 a.m. then it worked after a re-try shortly thereafter.
