If you're looking for ways to trim your budget, start with your subscriptions.
CNET's latest survey found that the average US adult spends $1,080 per year -- down only $12 from CNET's findings from last year. Over half (61%) of subscribers are rethinking their subscriptions because of economic concerns, and 26% have already canceled at least one. Subscribers also reported spending more than $200 per year on services they no longer used.
