New AirPods Pro 2 beta firmware is now available

Earlier this week Apple shipped new firmware for AirPods Max models with Lightning. Today, the company has followed that up by releasing a beta version of new firmware for all AirPods Pro 2 models. Here are the details.
Latest firmware follows AirPods Pro beta debut last month
Apple’s new beta firmware applies to all AirPods Pro 2 models, regardless of whether you have a USB-C charging case or Lightning case. It’s also available for AirPods 4.
The new beta build is 7E5080a, and any updates and changes it brings are currently unknown.
Apple last shipped beta AirPods Pro 2 and AirPods 4 firmware just over one month ago, when version 7E5067b debuted.
So far though, noticeable differences with the latest firmware have been difficult to find.
Currently, the publicly available AirPods Pro 2 firmware version is 7B21, which introduced “Bug fixes and other improvements” to the earbuds.
