OpenAI Says Its New ChatGPT 4.5 Has Better Emotional Intelligence

The next version of ChatGPT is here, with the promise to be more humanistic in tone, interactions and general knowledge. OpenAI announced on Thursday a preview of GPT-4.5, what OpenAI is calling its largest and best model for chat yet. The company said to expect more warm, naturally flowing conversations, better emotional intelligence and more advanced capabilities, such as the ability to recognize patterns, draw connections and think more creatively. The company detailed in a press release that the model can also understand more nuance and context, is more attuned to collaboration and is generally more knowledgeable, effectively reducing the likeliness to hallucinate. The news comes as tech companies are embracing a broader goal of developing AI that can match or surpass human capabilities.
