IPhone 'Flip': The Apple Foldable Could Come By the End of 2026

Over half a decade since foldable phones first debuted and now consumers have plenty of devices from Samsung, Google and Motorola (as well as others from Oppo, Huawei and more) to choose from -- but alone of the big phonemakers, Apple doesn't have one in its lineup. The latest flexible-screen devices, like the Galaxy Z Fold 6, the Motorola Razr Plus reboot and the Pixel 9 Pro Fold show mature designs and robust bending displays, leaving the foldables niche handily dominated by Android devices. Yet one of the biggest smartphone makers in the world, Apple, doesn't have one despite recurring leaks and rumors that the company may be developing its own folding device.
