Bluesky now lets users upload longer videos, improves DMs, more

The microblogging social network Bluesky was updated today with some new features aimed at improving the experience of using the platform. With the update, users can now upload longer videos – but that’s not all. Read on as we detail what’s new on Bluesky. One of the most notable is certainly the ability to upload longer videos. More specifically, you can now upload a video of up to three minutes on Bluesky. Previously, the platform limited videos to 60 seconds. Another welcome improvement is related to DMs. Users will now have a separate DM inbox to approve requests from unknown users. This makes it easier to filter messages from people you know. And when you don’t want to reply to a DM from an unknown account, you can simply reject the conversation.
