Bless the Modder Who Is Fixing AMD’s Newest GPUs

You save up your hard-earned money to invest in a new graphics card for your PC, snagged your new prized possession, and life is good. You’re gaming with smooth renders, negligible latency, and blistering frame rate. Or are you? If you own one of 9000 series RDNA 4 GPUs that’s not the case except for a select few games. It turns out that AMD’s FidelityFX Super Resolution (FSR 4) technology, which is the magic sauce of AMD’s GPUs and their answer to Nvidia’s DLSS, doesn’t work with a large swath of games. That includes popular titles like Diablo IV and Silent Hill 2. And if you own an older AMD card, you’re S.O.L. as there’s no word if your hardware will get FSR 4 anytime soon or at all.
