CNET Survey: Americans Are Rushing to Buy Tech Before Tariff Price Hikes

President Donald Trump's shifting tariffs have consumers taking precautions on purchases like electronics. In the past two months, the administration has enacted two rounds of 10% tariffs on imports from China, a move likely to hike prices on imported tech. With 25% steel and aluminum tariffs now also in effect across the world, items like laptops, TVs, gaming systems and other tech could see spikes this year. A new CNET survey found that over one-third of US adults feel pressured to purchase in anticipation of tariff-related price hikes.
