Disney Plus is following up its Moana 2 drop with Mufasa: The Lion King. The prequel to Disney's 2019 Lion King remake will let out a roar on Disney Plus this week. Mufasa: The Lion King chronicles the rise of Simba's dad and includes songs by Lin-Manuel Miranda. In the film, Rafiki fills in Simba and Nala's daughter, Kiara -- played by Beyoncé's daughter, Blue Ivy Carter -- on Mufasa's legend. Mufasa: The Lion King will hit Disney Plus shortly after the sequel to Moana (you can also binge Marvel series Daredevil: Born Again with a subscription this month).
