Apple releases iOS 18.4 RC for iPhone and iPad

Apple is putting the final touches on the upcoming iOS 18.4 release. The release candidate version of the upcoming iPhone and iPad software update is now available for developer and public beta testers. iOS 18.4 brings a lot of new features to both devices. iOS 18.4 beta 2 introduced support for Visual Intelligence on iPhone 15 Pro. The Apple Intelligence-branded visual search feature can also now be invoked through Control Center, the Action button, or Shortcuts on iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro starting with iOS 18.4. Perhaps more importantly, iOS 18.4 beta 2 added new emoji characters for the first time in a year. Meanwhile, iOS 18.4 beta 1 introduced over 50 new features and changes!
