10 Things We Hope to Learn at CinemaCon 2025

Next week marks one of the biggest days on the movie geek calendar. It’s the start of CinemaCon, the Las Vegas industry trade show for exhibitors, aka the people who run and own movie theaters. For four days, they’ll be wowed by the latest in terms of projection, snacks, and popcorn buckets, while also enjoying elaborate presentations from each Hollywood studio of what’s on its upcoming slate. Basically, studios bring celebrities, exciting movie news, and never-before-seen footage, hoping to excite exhibitors enough so they’ll play their movies on more screens. For the 11th year in a row (minus covid), io9 will be in Las Vegas for CinemaCon, bringing you all the biggest news as it happens.
