Doctor Who Reunites Christopher Eccleston and Billie Piper in New Audio Series

That’s right, the original revival duo are returning to the world of the BBC’s Doctor Who. Billie Piper and Christopher Eccleston are coming back together to reprise their roles as companion Rose Tyler and the Ninth Doctor. One catch: it’s an audio drama. Twelve full-cast episodes of The Ninth Doctor Adventures bring back the fan-favorite pair just in time for the 20th anniversary of their debut on the beloved franchise. The first, “Snare,” is written by Tim Foley and takes place between the events of “Father’s Day” and “The Empty Child.” Here’s a brief plot summary courtesy of Big Finish: “Kevin left the Powell Estate a long time ago.
