Nintendo, Sony Bringing Two New PlayStation Games to the Switch

Nintendo held a Nintendo Direct update presentation on Thursday. Even though the company's Switch 2 will be revealed on April 2, this event was solely about games for the original Switch, and two of them stood out because these titles come from Sony. Patapon 1+2 Replay and Everybody's Golf: Hot Shots are two games licensed by Sony Interactive Entertainment that will come to the Switch later this year. Both games were PlayStation exclusives, but like with God of War and The Last of Us, Sony appears to be expanding its strategy of getting more of its games onto other platforms. Patapon and Patapon 2 were first released on the PlayStation Portable in 2007 and 2008, respectively. The games feature a tribe of eyeball minions called the Patapon, who view the player as their deity.
