The Animated Avatar Aang Film Adds a Series Veteran, Steven Yeun

It’s a good time to be a fan of the Avatar franchise, between Nickelodeon’s all-new upcoming animated series Avatar: Seven Havens and Netflix’s (unrelated but adjacent) live-action series returning for a second and third season. The third part of the current Avatar media triangle is Nick’s upcoming trilogy of animated feature films, with the exciting news today that Steven Yeun (Invincible, Mickey 17) is joining its voice cast. Before you connect too many dots—because as fans well know, Yeun previously voiced Avatar Wan, the first Avatar, on The Legend of Korra—there’s no word yet on who he’ll be playing in the new film.
