I tested Gemini’s new Deep Research version and it’s surprisingly good

That was back in December, and my conclusion was that it was somewhat of a hit and miss. While the feature worked well for relatively basic inquiries, in-depth research on recent and slightly more complicated topics proved challenging for it.
