What Is Cellular Internet and Is It Worth the Hype?

Having a reliable home internet connection is a must in today's world, but many areas in the US are still left in the dark as seen with the digital divide. So, how does cellular internet fit in this picture? According to the latest Pew Research Center data, 73% of rural residents subscribe to high-speed internet at home. However, they are still less likely to have access compared to 86% of suburban and 77% of urban residents. Additionally, the number of adults dependent on their smartphones for the internet has doubled in the past year. The recent J.D. Power customer satisfaction survey highlights that wireless customers have a better overall satisfaction score of 630 out of 1,000 compared to 538 for wired customers.
