When Henk Rogers read the script for the Tetris movie — about his journey into the Soviet Union to get the rights to Alexey Pajitnov’s addictive game — he didn’t recognize some of the scenes. While some of those scenes in the 2023 movie brought tears to his eyes, Rogers decided that he wanted to set the record straight on the inside story of how Tetris came to sell hundreds of millions of copies. He also survived a heart attack — the kind that kill most people who have it.
