Sony Celebrates Bravia's 20th Anniversary With a New Flagship OLED TV

Sony, which is celebrating 20 years since the debut of the first Bravia TV, has announced three new televisions, including an OLED and an entry level TV.
The Bravia 8 II is Sony's new flagship 4K QD-OLED, succeeding the A95L, which includes a high luminance panel and a temperature sensor that controls light output and detail. The TV also uses XR Processor for image processing and XR Triluminos Max for enhanced color and brightness. The TV's panel incorporates a speaker system that promises to follow onscreen action.

Meanwhile, the new Bravia 5 is a mini LED backlit TV that promises "precise local dimming" controlled by its XR Backlight Master Drive. The TV will be available in five sizes between 55 inches and 98 inches.
The company also introduced a new entry model Bravia 2 II, which will be available in sizes from 43 inches to 75 inches.
