After a long eight-year run, the Nintendo Switch is finally getting its successor. Nintendo showcased the Nintendo Switch 2 early morning in its April 2 Nintendo Direct in which we got a 60-minute close look at the console and upcoming software. We also got its release date which is a real close June 5, 2025. If past console launches are anything to go by, it’s going to be difficult to get one’s hands on the newest Nintendo console right away.
