Reddit users have discovered the new icons in an email survey from Microsoft, reports Windows Central. The survey includes a brief look at the new icons, with Microsoft asking for feedback on its changes to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other Office apps. The new Microsoft 365 app icons have a more 3D look and feel to them, and follow a similar design language to the 3D emoji that Microsoft added to Windows 11 in 2023. Microsoft also recently overhauled its sign-in UI with a new design and dark mode, as part of the company’s Fluent 2 design language.
