Imagine just casually having one of C-3PO‘s feet displayed in your home. There’s nothing Star Wars fans love more than weird little details, and this unique piece of memorabilia—going up for sale as part of Heritage Auctions’ upcoming May the Fourth-timed event—certainly fits the bill. Anthony Daniels did indeed wear this as part of his costume while filming 1980’s Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back. Take a closer look in the gallery: The C-3PO foot comes from the personal collection of legendary art director and production designer Harry Lange, whose credits besides Empire included Return of the Jedi, 2001: A Space Odyssey, Moonraker, The Great Muppet Caper, and The Dark Crystal. According to Heritage Auctions, “the costume piece is constructed of vacuum formed plastic ribbed shell, plated in metallic gold and expertly studio finished.
