Switch 2 Hands-On: Is It Worth the Upgrade? My First Impressions

The Switch 2 situation still looks dire for US customers as Nintendo continues to delay pre-orders due to tariffs on goods from China (even as other electronics were exempted late last week). And that's made my hands-on experience with the upcoming console feel even more valuable. At a special media event, I spent an entire day playing all the new games, which included using controllers in a way I didn't expect. For example, pushing my hands around a fabric-covered table while holding two mouse controllers is surprisingly tiring. I was playing Drag x Drive, a new wheelchair sports game coming for the Nintendo Switch 2 that uses one of the console's new features: Joy-Cons, which work like computer mice.
