Uber’s Glorified Bus Service Launches Rides in Atlanta

Uber is a convenient service, but sometimes it can be somewhat expensive. What if instead, the company offered shuttles that carry multiple people at once, and analyzed their travel patterns to create ideal routes for pickup and drop-off stops? That would make the rides potentially more efficient and environmentally friendly, because more people are cramming into one vehicle, and a shared ride could be more affordable than a standard Uber. Well, you are in luck. Uber says that starting in May, it is expanding its Uber Shuttle service to Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, and will offer numerous routes picking people up from downtown and midtown, with daily service scheduled for every 30 minutes from 6 AM to 10 PM.
