If you're one of the millions working from home full-time, you know a high-speed internet connection is essential for efficiently completing your work. But while the employer usually provides the computer and necessary applications, WFH folks are typically responsible for their broadband service. That can get pricey quickly -- a recent CNET survey showed 63% of adults paid more for internet service than they did the prior year.
That said, depending on where you live, your employer may be required to compensate you for some (or all) of your required expenses, including internet service.
