Preorders for the Nintendo Switch 2 are finally open. After a brief delay due to the potential impact of tariffs, gamers can now order the console ahead of its June 5 release date. Some retailers made Switch 2 preorders available at midnight and many have already sold out. It's clear that gamers are ready for Nintendo's newest console. A new CNET survey finds that more than half of US gaming adults (58%) are interested in buying the Switch 2 but are considering a few factors first. By the numbers, 27% are looking for an affordable price tag, while others hope new games for the Nintendo franchise and improved technology will meet their expectations.
