Lyonne is teaming up with technologist and virtual reality pioneer Jaron Lanier to produce a new sci-fi film that will feature elements generated by AI models. Titled Uncanny Valley, the feature will tell the story — which Lyonne co-wrote with The OA’s Brit Marling — of a teenage girl whose life is turned upside down by a popular virtual reality game.
