Gaze Upon the Detachable, Magnetic Tongue of Hot Toys’ Jar Jar Binks

The string of anniversaries for the Star Wars prequel trilogy across the last few years has returned us to a golden age not seen since the run-up to The Phantom Menace: a Jar Jar merch renaissance. Our Gungan friend has trended less in the state of being everywhere, including in questionable lollipop form, in this revival though, finding himself now beloved enough once more to exist in a world where there is demand for premium Jar Jar goodies. And Hot Toys is more than happy to provide. Announced today as part of the toymaker’s reveals for Star Wars Day this coming May 4, Hot Toys revealed that Jar Jar (alongside new announcements like the long-in-limbo Poe Dameron, a Bad Batch-inspired Elite Squad Trooper, and even Republic Commando‘s Boss) will be joining its line of 1:6 scale collectibles in 2026.
