If you're in the midst of spring cleaning right now, there are easy and sustainable options to clear out all that ancient tech. A CNET survey published last month shows that 31% of US adults are still holding onto their unused old devices, including laptops, because they aren't sure what to do with them. The survey also found that 19% of respondents just toss old devices in the trash (which is actually illegal, and can draw hefty fines in some states), while 29% use a recycling service to dispose of old tech.
