This year, Google announced everything about the Pixel 10, Pixel Watch 4, and Pixel Buds 2a before the actual Made by Google 2025 presentation gets underway in one hour with a number of special guests.
Here’s a summary of everything announced at Made by Google 2025. Each section has a link to our full hands-on with the new hardware and software features, with more posts coming over the course of Wednesday.
Pixel 10
The main upgrade to the Pixel 10 is the addition of a telephoto lens that means all phones in the series have three cameras. This 10.8 MP 5x telephoto with 20x Super Res Zoom. It’s joined by a new 48 MP (previously 50 MP) wide lens with “improved” image stabilization and a 13 MP (previous 48 MP) ultrawide. It records 10-bit HDR video by default.
Elsewhere, the 6.3-inch Actua Display now has 3,000 nits (from 2,700 on the Pixel 9) peak brightness. There’s also an upgraded top speaker with improved bass and audio quality. Google now touts 30+ (from 24) hours of battery life (4,970 mAh), with Qi2 charging and magnets at 15W.

The Pixel 10 is powered by Tensor G5 (more on that below) with 12 GB of RAM. Wi-Fi is downgraded to 6E instead of last year’s Wi-Fi 7, but there is Bluetooth 6.
It’s available Obsidian (black), Frost (white), Lemongrass (neon green), and Indigo (homage to Really Blue on the original Pixel) for $799 (128 GB) and $899 (256 GB).

Pixel 10 Pro and 10 Pro XL
Compared to the base model, the upgrades to the Pixel 10 Pro and 10 Pro XL aren’t as obvious, but there are some nice refinements. The 6.3-inch model has a 4,870 mAh battery and 15W Qi2. The 6.8-inch unit goes to 5,200 mAh 25W Qi2.2, with both phones rated for 30+ hours of battery life.
The Super Actua Display is 10% brighter at 3,300 nits (peak). Google is particularly emphasizing how the Pixel 10 Pro XL has its loudest speaker and most powerful bass. The Pixel 10 Pro and 10 Pro XL are powered by Tensor G5 with 16 GB of RAM. We also get Bluetooth 6 and Thread.
The megapixel count across the three cameras are unchanged, but there are upgrades starting with a new Pixel ISP (image signal processor) and improved autofocus. The 50 MP wide camera can shoot smoother video thanks to enhanced OIS (optical image stabilization) that doubles the range of compensation. Video Boost makes possible 8K, Night Sight Video, and Super Res Zoom Video. Google touts an upgraded 5x telephoto with up to 100x with Pro Res Zoom, while there’s a 50 MP High-Res Portrait Mode.
The Pixel 10 Pro is available in Obsidian, Porcelain, Moonstone (gray with a touch of blue), and Jade (green with yellow rails). The Pixel 10 Pro starts at $999 (128 GB), while the 10 Pro XL starts at 256 GB for $1,199.

Pixel 10 Pro Fold
The Pixel 10 Pro Fold picks up more notable refinements like a new gear-less hinge that is 2x more durable than last year, with Google touting 10+ years of folding. The ultra-thin glass has dual layers of anti-impact films for improved drop protection. The 8-inch Super Actua Flex display now has 3,000 nits (from 2,700) peak brightness. The outer Actua Display goes to 6.4-inches while reducing the bezels.
IP68 dust and water resistance is a first for foldables, while there’s a new 48 MP wide camera joining the 10.5 MP ultrawide and 10.8 MP telephoto. The Pixel Camera app has a new Instant View for the inner display that places a phone-sized viewfinder at the right, while the left shows a large preview of the shots you’ve taken. Powered by Tensor G5 with 16GB of RAM, you can now get up to 1TB of storage. There’s also Qi2 charging.
The Pixel 10 Pro Fold starts at $1,799 for 256 GB in Moonstone and Jade.

Tensor G5
The Tensor G5 powering the Pixel 10 series is built on the latest 3 nm process node from TSMC with a CPU that is 34% faster. The TPU is up to 60% more powerful, with a new Gemini Nano model that’s responsible for 20 fully on-device gen AI experiences at launch. There’s also an upgraded ISP to improve image and video quality.

Pixelsnap
Pixelsnap is Google’s branded moniker on Qi2 (which adds magnets to the charging standard for perfect alignment) with a new charging puck that looks a bit like a larger Pixel Watch 2/3 charger. This Pixelsnap Charger costs $39.99 with up to 25W charging on the Pixel 10 Pro XL, while it’s 15W for the Pixel 10, 10 Pro, 10 Pro Fold, and other Qi2-certified devices.
The Pixel 10 series is fully compatible with MagSafe accessories, while all first-party cases feature Pixelsnap.

Then there’s the $69.99 Pixelsnap Charger with Stand that’s the successor to the Pixel Stand. However, this is not an integrated device, but rather involves stringing through the charging puck cable through a base. Supporting portrait and landscape orientation, including the unfolded Pixel 10 Pro Fold, you can view photos, screensavers, weather, and smart home controls.
The $29.99 Pixelsnap Ring Stand that’s a bit like the Pixel Tablet case to prop up your phone. It has a soft microfiber liner to switch between landscape or portrait, and a thin design.
Google is also releasing a new $59.99 Pixel Flex Dual Port 67W USB-C Fast Charger with folding prongs. It has the same general design as last year’s 45W charger with a “unique, proprietary algorithm that intelligently identifies and prioritizes charging Pixel phones, while still powering a second device simultaneously.”

Pixel Watch 4
The Pixel Watch 4 looks like its predecessors, but there are meaningful hardware changes inside. The display panel that is actually domed instead of just the glass being curved. Google calls this Actua 360 with 10% more screen, 16% smaller bezel, and 3,000 nits of peak brightness. Expect 15% stronger haptics, while there’s a new charging system that makes use of raised contacts to the left and right of the speaker cutout on the left edge. Google includes a new dock in the box that provides “ultra” fast changing. Additionally, the Pixel Watch 4 is Google’s first wearable to be serviceable for easy display and battery replacements.
The Pixel Watch 4 is powered by a Snapdragon W5 Gen 2 with a new ML co-processor that has 25% longer battery for 30 hours (AOD) on the 41mm model and 40 hours on the 45mm. There’s emergency satellite connectivity and dual-frequency GPS. It will be available October 9 from $349.
New health and fitness features include AI-powered activity recognition and a Gemini-powered Coach.

Pixel Buds 2a
Pixel Buds 2a comes four years after the original with Active Noise Cancellation that’s 1.5x more than the original Pixel Buds Pro being the main addition. Smaller than that first A-Series, the design is inspired by the Pixel Buds Pro 2 with an arc-shaped stabilizer that you twist to adjust/fit.
The earbuds have IP54 sweat and water resistance. The charging case is shorter than previous ones, and designed to be serviceable for battery replacement. On the battery front, you get 7 hours of listening with ANC and 20 hours with the case.
Available in Hazel (dark green) and Iris (light purple), the Pixel Buds 2a cost $129 and will be available on October 9.

Google is giving last year’s Pixel Buds Pro 2 a big Feature Drop update in September. New features include Adaptive Audio, Loud Noise Protection, gestures to decline or answer calls, and more. There’s also a new Moonstone color for the $229 buds.
