Destiny 2 is Ending 2025 With a Star Wars Crossover Season

Across its 10-year history, Destiny has always looked toward the future, be it a new gun, location, or power scale. What next adventure awaits the Guardians? A galaxy far, far away, apparently. During its livestream reveal for the upcoming Destiny 2 season—Edge of Fate, kicking off July 15—Bungie gave a short teaser for the season to follow, Renegades. Turns out it’s a Star Wars crossover: one Guardian brandishes Han Solo’s iconic blaster pistol, and another ignites a lightsaber, followed by some familiar text and the view of a desert planet. Destiny 2 has crossed over with different IP in recent years, including Fortnite, The Witcher, and Mass Effect.
