Pixar’s Adorable Lamp Mascot Is Getting Its Own Lego Set

Almost as iconic as Pixar’s cast of animated movie characters is Luxo Jr., the little lamp that starred in Pixar’s first animated short, and now shines a light to open every one of their films. And now, it’s getting a very cute tribute in the form of its own Lego set–complete with a brick-built replica of the famous red, blue, and yellow Pixar ball. This morning Lego revealed its latest Disney building set for adult collectors in the form of Luxo Jr., a 613-piece replica of the lamp from the titular short as well as the tiny ball it plays with. As well as Luxo Jr. itself, which can be posed and moved, well, like a lamp, the included Pixar ball itself can be opened up to reveal easter eggs celebrating Pixar’s legacy in animation, from Toy Story to Up, The Incredibles, Finding Nemo, and even more of the studio’s films.
