In a nutshell: Ampere Computing has expanded its Arm-based server CPU portfolio with the launch of the AmpereOne M processors. First announced last year, this new lineup introduces six SKUs, with the flagship model featuring a 192-core chip that supports 12-channel DDR5 memory.
The AmpereOne M family uses a 7228-pin FCLGA socket and packs between 96 and 192 custom single-threaded Armv8.6+ cores, running at speeds of up to 3.60 GHz. The processors feature up to 64 MB of system-level cache and 2 MB of L2 cache. Designed for cloud data centers and AI workloads, these processors support one ECC-protected DIMM per channel and can handle up to 3 TB of DDR5-5600 memory.
The flagship AmpereOne A192-32M boasts 192 cores running at 3.2 GHz with a 346W TDP. The rest of the lineup includes:
